Named traits and their individual-barber bonuses, with customer and resource conditions preserved.
Traits improve an individual barber's money, cutting speed, tips, reroll drops or payments from specific customers. Compare their effects and rarity before replacing a useful trait.
Each trait boosts the barber holding it. Overdrive gives ×2.2 Cut Speed; Crown Cut combines ×1.8 Money with +50% Cut Speed; Fortune's Favorite gives ×2.5 Money and ×2 Tips. Collector provides ×2 Trait Reroll drops and +15% Money, while Star Stylist boosts payments from VIP, Celebrity and Golden customers by ×2.5. Different working barbers can each hold the same trait.

Compare the effect as well as the rarity: a speed trait and a tips trait improve different parts of a barber's work. Read percentages as increases and multipliers as totals—for example, +50% means 1.5× the original stat, while ×2.2 means 2.2 times the original stat.
Star Stylist is customer-specific: its payment multiplier applies when the holder serves VIP, Celebrity or Golden customers. It is not an unconditional Money multiplier. See the customer guide for customer types and walking speed.
Collector's ×2 Trait Reroll drops is a drop multiplier, not a stated 40% drop chance. The altar separately gives a base rule of a 20% chance per haircut to drop one reroll; do not turn those two labels into a new probability.
A trait strengthens the selected barber. Rerolling replaces that barber's old trait; selecting someone else leaves the previous barber's trait in place. For example, Fade Phantom can keep Charmer while you reroll Neon Nico.
Different working barbers can each hold Overdrive: Fade Phantom and Neon Nico can both have it while marked WORKING. Traited barbers do not stack. Treat these as individual trait holders, not as two multipliers to combine into a shop-wide bonus.
For a quick choice, favor Overdrive for cutting speed, Crown Cut for money plus speed, or Fortune's Favorite for money plus tips. Use the trait tier list to decide what to keep for your current goal, or the tips guide to compare tip traits with equipment.
To change a trait, go to the purple Trait Altar beside the blue Shop and select the barber you want to improve. Each reroll costs one reroll resource and replaces that barber's current trait. Follow the trait reroll guide for keeping useful results, farming resources and reading the guarantee counters.
