Customers move through three stages: waiting, walking to a workstation, and getting a haircut. Walking and cutting take place at different points in the service cycle, so they call for different upgrades.
The Customer branch improves customer walking speed. The Cutting branch improves haircut speed. If a customer is already seated while a barber works, the Cutting branch targets that part of the process; Customer upgrades target the travel to the workstation.
